We (AniList Badges) are a group of users who create a lot of events for all users on AniList.
We also give users the option to present their Achievement Badges or Medals on our website so they can be found much easier and be used by others.
No, the Anilist Badges Community is not related in any way and we do not collaborate with any of them.
To claim an event related badge, you need to participate to an event.
Read more in our FAQs under “Event” about how to participate to an event.
Achievement Badges have their own requirements. For example you need to watch at least 1000 Episodes in total of anime or read 200 Chapters of mangas in your life.
Medals are mostly Character Badges and do not have any requirements. You can use them without completing anything.
When you Achieved a Badge, you are allowed to implement it to your profile or whereever you want to show this badge to other people.
To do so, you need to right-click the Badge you achieved and click on “copy image adress”. After you copied the image adress you are ready to add it to your profile on AniList.
Code for the badge
Replace the “xxx” with the image adress, you just copied. If you want to change the size of the badge, change the number “100” to an other number (higher numbers makes the Badge bigger and lower numbers, smaller.)
You can find thousand of videos on YouTube which explains you how to create and edit images.

Simple GIF-Badges with Rainbow text.
We also have made a video where you can learn how to create gif badges with the rainbow text on it.
There are a lot of programs you could use to create badges, just to name a few:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe XD
• Affinity Photo
There are many more programs, this is just a small selection of the most popular ones.
Nearly all events celebrated are from requests received from the AniList community.
If you also want to suggest some events, you can do that here.
We celebrate out events in two different threads. All events which are not birthdays will be celebrated in one thread, and all birthday events will be celebrated in the birthday thread.
We are using all suggested events first and sort them in the order of the date they got suggested.
If we do not have any suggestions or we still have events free for a month we will decide on our own which events will be celebrated.
Birthdays are typically chosen from requests from the community, so either a request didn’t come in for person B or Person A was requested first.
The 2 year rule means that we are not going to celebrate a birthday again in the next two years to make place for other characters which might have birthday on the same day or in the same week.
In order to participate to an event you just need to create a post on your own profile on AniList.
In this post you need to mention the event and post some nice image, gif or some text related to the event.
If you want to, you can also share the link of the event and/or mention @AniListBadges.
YES! And you are very welcome to do so. The more badges one event has, the better. There are no restrictions on our side for the badges, just try to be in a safe zone with the AniList Guidelines.
